520.353 - Control Systems

Fall 2008

Course Description: This is a junior level undergraduate course aimed at gaining a fundamental understanding of the basic principles of feedback control systems. The course focuses primarily on single-input single-output (SISO) linear time-invariant (LTI) systems, and presents an extensive set of techniques from both 'classical' and 'modern' control. The course also introduces more advanced control concepts using discrete state-space (Finite State Automata, FSA) models.
