ABOUT US |
The Photonics and Optoelectronics Lab, at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Johns Hopkins University, is headed by Dr. Jin U. Kang. We conduct experimental and theoretical investigations in the area of photonics and optoelectronics with emphasis on developing
• Novel fiber laser systems and
• Ultrafast optoelectronic devices
• Non-invasive optical imaging
for applications in military, communications, sensors and space sciences.
We work closely with the NASA, FDA, ARL as well as local industries and other research groups in and outside the Johns Hopkins University. |
