Application Fee Waiver Policy

As a general rule, we do not waive the application fee.  

A student may request a waver by sending the following information to our Academic Program Coordinator Felicia Roane (phone: 410-516-4808, fax: 410-516-5566):

• A reason for the requested waiver in writing.

• Proof of financial need. Domestic (US) applicants must submit a W-2 form that shows parental gross income of $15,000 or less per year. A similar tax document must be submitted by international students.

The university does waive application fees for all McNair Scholars, Project 1000 Scholars and Vietnam Educational Foundation Scholars. These students must submit proof (a letter from the program director) of their participation in those programs directly to our Academic Program Coordinator Felicia Roane (phone: 410-516-4808, fax: 410-516-5566).
